Very true to size but if you are top heavy in the bust area then we suggest you go up a size because of the double breasted buttons that can be difficult to close or button if you are top heavy. I wear size 12-14 but I got the size 14-16 because my bust is 44D. I got my dress to fit my bust first but then I had to get the sides and waist altered and taken in a bit because after getting it to fit my bust then the waist was too big. We only recommend going up a size if you are heavier in the bust area or if you need extra room for the stomach, otherwise, order your exact size. DRESS RUNS TRUE TO SIZE. The dress is true to size but the double breasted closure is something to keep in mind for ladies who carry more weight in the chest area or stomach. Please do not go up in size if you are not top heavy and do not need the extra room. Coat dress has side pockets. The collar is purposely designed to be asymmetrical. One side of the collar is longer than the other. The shorter side of the collar can be fanned out closer to your shoulders if you like or you can leave the shorter side to just stay pleated in place. If you want the shorter pleated side of the collar to fan out closer to your shoulder like in the photo, then you will need to unbutton the clear inside button on your right side and pull the pleated part closer to your shoulders. The collar is designed to lay pleated on top of your collar bone area and below. In the photo shoot, I unbutton the clear inside right side button and pulled the shorter side of the collar closer to my shoulder. Color is a luxurious off white and the movement of the fabric is wonderful when you walk. Try this on when you get it to see how it moves and flows. Since this is off white, we highly recommend that you take this to the cleaners to have the wrinkles removed or steam it yourself. Handwash or dry clean only. Length of the coat dress is perfect with heels. Models are approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall to 5 feet 9 inches tall with 3 to 4 inch high heel shoes on. You will greatly appreciate the time and effort put into the hemline and the length of the sleeves. The reason you will like the hemline at this length is because it is long enough for the dramatic look but stops exactly before touching the floor. The sleeves are also a perfect length to keep them from touching too much and becoming dirty. Sleeves can also be pushed up to the elbows for comfort or if you are concern about the edges of the sleeves touching things and becoming stained. Sleeves also fit generously and fabric has stretch for those who carry extra weight in their arms. No need to be concerned about skinny sleeves like some designs.
