I wear sizes large 12-14 most of the time but I preferred the XL 14-16 in this dress because it gave me a less tight fitted look that is more church friendly. The 12-14 large was tight on my hips and the 14-16 XL fit looser on my hips but they both fit me.  My bust is 40D and waist measure 34 inches and hips are 46 inches. I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and the dress does cover my knees for a perfect church friendly and sit down length to give modest coverage of the legs. Dress is 44 inches long top to bottom of the hemline. Perfect fashion forward dress you could wear anywhere from a wedding to holiday party. Necktie looks  great tied or untied.
